Clean Water Action just released our 2021 Legislative Scorecard recording the environmental voting records of every state senator and assembly member. See how they all voted here.
The good news is that a number of bills to protect the environment and public health passed including laws to remove lead service lines, ban plastic bans, and protect overburdened communities from toxic pollution. There are still a few actions that this legislature can take before the term ends in January 2022.
Take Action! Write a letter to YOUR legislators using the sample letters below. Thank them for passing so many pro-environment bills this session, and tell them to finish strong by passing the Green Amendment (SCR30/ACR80) to give New Jersey residents the right to a healthy environment, the Clean Energy Equity Bill (S2484/A4185) to bring the benefits of clean energy to overburdened communities, and the Recycled Content Bill (S2515/A4676) to strengthen the recycling market.
