Since these “forever” chemicals are so widespread, no single agency or organization can address them. That’s why we’re asking Governor Newsom to create a taskforce of experts from public health, environmental, and toxics agencies – as well as public interest groups – to develop a comprehensive strategy for addressing current PFAS contamination and restricting the future use of these chemicals in favor of safer alternatives.
