The comment period for Connecticut's draft State Energy Efficiency Program is now open and we are mobilizing members and residents to urge bolder action to assure that we meet our climate goals!
Connecticut has established bold goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions including 100% clean electricity by 2040. But we will not reach these goals unless we ramp up energy efficiency, shift to renewable energy that provides clean electricity for heating and cooling systems for buildings and transportation and stop the use of fossil fuels—oil, fracked gas and propane—for everything.
Take action! The draft energy efficiency plan doesn't go far enough and we need to push hard for these goals right now. Submit your comment below calling on major improvements to CT's draft State Energy Efficiency Program plan today.
