As many of us, including Clean Water Fund's staff, find ourselves inside and working from home, how can we make sure those environments are as safe and healthy as possible?
Indoor air is often more polluted than outside air, due to toxins from consumer products like furniture, food packaging, and even the cleaners we use to clean, disinfect and protect ourselves from threats like COVID-19. How do we know what products have problematic chemicals and which are safer?
We invite you to join our webinar “Getting Toxics Out” on April 29th at 2 pm! Learn about the toxic chemicals in everyday products from home. We will deep dive into two toxic chemicals, PFAS and Flame Retardants, discussing what these chemicals are, how their exposure affects our health and our communities, and how to choose safer products for yourself and your family.
The webinar will be moderated by Elizabeth Saunders, Clean Water Fund Massachusetts State Director, and KiShayla Fonfield, Clean Water Fund Environmental Health & Justice Organizer.
