Five months ago, Gov. Whitmer gave Enbridge a deadline to Shut Down Line 5. On Thursday, May 13th this Canadian oil company will officially be violating Michigan law by continuing to operate aging and dangerous Line 5 pipeline under our Great Lakes.
We aren’t just going to sit by quietly while Enbridge keeps our Great Lakes at risk.
No matter how much they spend on lawyers, lobbyists, and paid disinformation campaigns, the people of Michigan support Gov. Whitmer’s proactive approach to defuse a ticking time bomb and protect the health and safety of Michiganders - and Enbridge needs to hear that message loud and clear.
Join us on May 13th to evict Enbridge on behalf of the People of Michigan! We will safely (outdoors, masked, and socially distanced) deliver eviction notices from the people of Michigan at Enbridge locations in Lansing and Mackinaw City. Plan to join us from roughly 10 AM to 1 PM. Details on exact locations and plans will be shared by email after sign up.
Click below to RSVP for which location you would like to attend!
Please note that both events will be outdoors, and wearing masks properly and social distancing is required for all attendees.
