In light of the current public health crisis, access to clean water and sanitation services for the health and safety of our communities should be the top priority. Water shut-offs in Detroit and across Michigan continue to pose a serious public health risk. Governor Whitmer has ordered utilities to restore service to all Michigan residents who have been without running water in their homes, but many are still waiting for their water to be turned on. This continued public health risk impacts individuals and families that are still at risk by not having access to their public water supply as well as all residents of Michigan.
Sign on below to urge Governor Whitmer to use her powers to ensure that all Michigan residents have access to clean water and sanitation for the duration of this crisis.
We're sorry, this action is for resident of Michigan only. Please visit the Clean Water Action Center to learn how you can stay engaged in your area!
