The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has identified multiple sites across Pennsylvania that have been contaminated by toxic perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), including military bases in Bucks and Montgomery County as well as airports in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh.
That’s why the Commonwealth is taking steps to improve public health protections by setting a Maximum Contamination Level (MCL) for PFAS in drinking water. Their plan is now out they want to hear from you.
