Last session, the RI General Assembly passed two bills to protect Rhode Islanders from toxic PFAS chemicals in food packaging and drinking water. This is great! But toxic PFAS are still found in many common household products including carpets and baby bibs. Now, it’s time for our legislators to take the next step and pass a comprehensive ban on these persistent toxins, so we can protect our drinking water AND protect consumers.
Take Action! Tell your legislators to pass a ban on PFAS!
